Our business relies on trust and making our client feel secure that is why all workstations are are set up with limited internet access, so that our transcriptionists and encoders can only use the internet for research in relation to their work.
All workstations have no floppy drives and no active USB ports to ensure that copies can ever be produced or duplicated. All employees signed a nondisclosure agreement for the protection of the client and security of the data. Hardcopy file of patient and/or client information are properly shredded and disposed. Computers are regularly maintained and cleaned to ensure no hardcopy files are saved in their local drive.
